  • no flip fold necessary

    the hubs is kind of anal about how his clothes are folded.  i'm not allowed to fold his clothes because, well, i suck at folding clothes.  actually, i'm only allowed to fold his boxers and socks.  after i do a load of laundry, i just pile all his shirts in one stack.  he goes through them and folds them perfectly.  no flip fold necessary.  it's pretty impressive. 



    nope, don't need it.  got the hubs.

  • silent nagging

    according to the hubs, i tend to nag.  i call it repetitive reminders.  the thing is, if i didn't so-call nag, he'd never get stuff done.  i see the wives reading the aforementioned nodding and agreeing with me.  so instead of constantly telling him what to do, i decided to use a whiteboard to write down all the things he needs to get done.  his to do list. he now calls it 24/7 nagging because if he doesn't get it done, he sees it up there all day and all night.  well, at least it's silent nagging.

  • pmo

    that time of the month is creeping up on me.  during my pms, the hubs pmo-pisses me off.  he gets more and more annoying and i turn on him.  i feel bad because he gets the brunt of all my bad hormones.  i think it's because i know if i get mad at him, he'll still love me.  poor guy.  hey now, he knew what he was getting into before he asked for my hand in marriage.  so he's not quite the victim.  it's gotten better though...i can't imagine what it'll be like when i'm preggers.  maybe that's why he's holding off on making a baby?

  • to change or not to change

    i haven't taken the hubs' last name.  one of the reasons i don't want to is because of the hassle of going through all the paperwork.  my laziness may have something to do with it as well.  i was given a nice name at birth and it's been the same for 30 plus years.  why would i want to change it?  who made that rule anyhow?  i don't know.  maybe when we have kids i'll decide to change it.  i say the hubs should take my last name.

  • joint funds

    so the hubs and i finally put our names together on my checking account.  it's not mine anymore...it's ours.  it took us 11 months to decide that joint funds would be better. i was a little nervous about hooking our finances together because the hubs doesn't have a good track record when it comes to money.  now i'll be able to see every little thing he spends money on.  i hope this joint thing doesn't make things worse.

    they should have a mini version of the biggest loser.  for those who want to lose 10-15 pounds within a month.  for those who've let themselves go after getting married.  you can count me in as a contestant.  i've gained all this 'happy weight', but i find nothing happy about it.  someone go 'jillian' on me so i can lose this weight!

    it's been fun watching say yes to the dress on tlc.  i enjoy watching the brides-to-be find the dress.  sadly, i didn't have that 'this is the dress' moment.  mine was a 'ok, fits and doesn't cost a fortune' moment.  oh well.  it's just a dress, right?
