not good for your health
um, wedding planning is not good for your health.
wedding planning + stress x teeth grinding ^2 - sleep + overeating = poor health
there has been no progress in my wedding planning progress. it's been two months and i have yet to book anything. my wedding plans have gone from one reception to two to one, 120 guests to 40 guests to 80, alcohol to no alcohol then back to alcohol, church to no church. this is all due to conversations aka arguments with mi madre. <insert aforementioned formula> so tiring. i don't know how wedding planners do it. i should hire one.

seattle bride magazine
yesterday, i checked out the seattle bride magazine while at border's and decided not to buy. then when i got home, i wish i had a copy of it for reference. today, i checked out a potential venue and the coordinator gave me a free copy. she saved me six bucks. yessss. hey now, every dollar counts.

this is the fun part
my married girlfriends have told me that planning all the details of the wedding is the fun part. yea, you can say it's fun now because you're already done with it. i'm not having fun with this. what i'm worried and stressing about is whether or not my guests are going to have fun at my wedding. i'd be so sad if people are bored. i need some fun ideas.

no host bar=bad etiquette?
i read on wikipedia that having a no host bar at a wedding is no good. it's preferable to have no bar at all than to provide a no host bar. hmm. what about having a hosted bar for a few hours and then switching to a no host bar? whatever. screw etiquette. i'm on a budget.

on the fritz
my skin has been on the fritz. i've never had any huge issues with my skin. a zit here or there once in awhile. as of late, it's been a few here, there, everywhere all the time! i think it's a combination of things. stress (dang you wedding planning!), more stress (dang you unemployment!), and the lack of humidity in seattle. i actually miss the humidity in baltimore. it made my skin supple, as the fiance would say. my friend says the breakout happens and then goes away. it better go away. like now. she used the dermalogica line to help her skin settle down. i may have to try their mosturizer. my skin needs more moisture (dang you dry air!).

sprinkles
i love cupcakes. i've always wanted to try a sprinkles one. i finally went to a sprinkles when i was in la memorial day weekend. there was a line, but it was worth it. mmm. so moist. i think red velvet is my fave. i hope they open one in seattle soon. i'd love to eat some at my bridal shower. oh man, i could eat one now.

and the city. i think the fiance secretly loves the show, but won't admit it. he'll watch the re-runs with me. he hates carrie-he calls her an idiot all the time, likes mr. big, thinks the girls are all crazy. i'm sure inside he's dying to find out what happens in the movie, but he refuses to go. he said he'll pay my sister to take me when she's in town. hmph. he's gonna regret not watching it after i give him all the details about the movie. ok, i hope he doesn't find out about this entry. he's going to make me delete it. read it while you can.
